Tokyo Family Photographers : Shichi-go-san Season

Shichi-Go-San is a traditional rite of passage and festival day in Japan for three- and seven-year-old girls and five-year-old boys.

The most amazing milestone to photograph.

“In the eyes of a child, there is joy, there is laughter, there is hope, there is trust, a chance to shape the future” ~ Air Supply

Ahhhh November …now how did that happen?? Such a favorite time of year with so much to look forward to…including some beautiful milestones.

From endless wedding bells & stories galore. And we love it when the leaves start to turn and the city is ablaze with color. None more so than when it’s shichi-go-san season.

Today’s feature is all about the girls, a coming of age day for this darling 3 year old…taking on the city with her doting parents & grandparents, icons floating in the background, tradition & ceremony all celebrated with time to just breathe in the moments. This story was absolute joy from start to finish as she takes on the world, adorable footwear and all…

Hire a professional photographer for your child's shichi-go-san ceremony. Preserve this memories and family history.
