Cherry Blossom Family Portraits in Tokyo

Taking time for family photos does something nothing else can - it preserves that time and space in your family's life that will never be that way again.

A great family photographer captures the whole story of your family.

“There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.” ~ Ernst Haas

We’re almost at Wednesday and still on a high from our 37 Frames Workshop on Sunday. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU to our FABULOUS participants and our gorgeous real-life family models.

We had an amazing day with you all and cannot believe the images you were producing by the end of the day. No more going back to Auto!! YAY! Talk about a learning curve. 10+ hours of nothing but photography and a whole lot of fun, laughs and some throw-down challenges – all hands-on. We’ve been a bit overwhelmed with the response and so are planning 2 more workshops of a similar nature, end of July and early September and then a Part 2 Advanced Workshop in the Fall. All the details will be announced soon plus follow-up report right here on the blog of what really went down… Stay tuned.

Today we’re finalizing all our dates for our upcoming trip to Europe (for a Wedding – end of June to mid-July) – and are able to fit in 3 incredible cities for Sessions… Rome, Barcelona and London here we come!!

If you’re overseas for the summer or have family/friends there then we’d LOVE to see you! All the dates & details will be announced here on the blog and via our 37 Newsletter.

Whew. So with the weather heating up we’re reliving the fresh days of Spring with family and endless sweet moments as our canvas…

Early blooming blossoms, daffodils, adorable smiles and coming together as milestones whiz by. It was a photo adventure with another of our favorite families, documenting little birthdays and celebrations.

There was meandering through quiet paths, lots of snuggles, with time to just sit and play and take in the gorgeous day. Made even better. When some extras turned up to the show. For yes, there were turtles…

This image was taken at Shinjuku-gyoen. Our favorite cherry blossom location for family portraits. See you there!
