Cost of a Destination Wedding in Japan, 2027

What a destination wedding in Japan costs depends far more on your guests, the venue and the days around it than on Japan itself. In 2027 our weddings with guests come to about ¥10M to ¥16M (about US$64K to $100K) on average, all in, and most of them are for about seventy to a hundred people.

Those figures are often the price of a buyout, with the whole house and everyone’s accommodation included. When guests pay for their own rooms, the cost to the two of you can be considerably less. They’re averages, not limits: some of our weddings run to several times that.
