While we love Glacier Point and the iconic Tunnel View, Valley View is still one of our favorites. It is quite easy to get to as you head out of Yosemite Valley, as it’s just along Northside Drive before Pohono Bridge. Valley View in winter in Yosemite National Park. From the floor of Yosemite Valley, you have a peaceful, portrait-like view as you stand before the Merced River and look up at the skyscraper-sized peaks like El Capitan. Picture perfect every time. Especially in winter.
